Over the past 10 years, I have worked hard to start and build my professional therapy practice. Not only did I need to develop a strong and sustained client base, but I also needed to ensure I had an ethical, sound, and effective business structure and processes. Around year 8 I came up for air and a moment to assess the state of my practice. I was very busy and realized many of the systems I had initially set up needed updating and streamlining. I knew I needed help.

The Gallagher Foundation is a  Private Family Foundation that provides college scholarships to students in developing countries.  When we first hired Amy, we were looking for someone to help with the administrative tasks for the Foundation. She dove right in and helped us clean up and organize our nonprofit.  She helped to make our paper filing system electronic, organized our files in the cloud, handled the daily accounting, and managed our database.  Soon after she arrived we realized her skills far exceeded the administrative tasks we hired her for.  Amy continued to handle the administrative tasks for the Foundation but then started a much more strategic, operational role.  She then led a two-year strategic plan.
